Day 25, Sunday August 26, 2001
Laurie wakes up feeling all better, thank God. I hate when she is sick. We head out to the hole and
I dig the 4 holes for the piers that will support the 6x6 posts in the basement that hold up the girder
beam that holds up the floor that supports the roof. Got that? There may be a quiz later. Laurie cuts
some more lumber and works on forms. While I'm trying to dig through a particularly tough section of rock,
a tooth breaks off the machine. That's why I brought my MIG welder. I came prepared.
We finished building the forms.
A huge boost. We celebrate with dinner at the Diner.
11 Hours, partly sunny and hot, around 85.
