Day 4, Sunday 8/5/01

We got up around 9:30. We cooked scrambled eggs and toast. Laurie started burning brush and I serviced the machine. 50 grease fittings takes a while. I had to remove and unclog the two fittings for the outriggers. One of the c clips broke, I need to get a new one. I went to digging the basement hole again.

Laurie built the biggest bonfire I’ve ever seen. She spent the whole day burning the huge piles of brush from all the trees I had cut down. She wouldn’t quit until it was all gone. It was hot today too. About 90 I’d say.

I’ve gone as far as I can with the basement digging while still allowing the well guy access. I hope he comes soon.

We had a late dinner at the Panda Palace. Ice cream too!
