Day 59 Saturday, September 29, 2001
Guess who was up first? Butchie, bless his early-waking-up soul, and off he went for donuts. Post feast,
we started on the metal bridging, four rows worth, that go in between the joists to reduce flex. We blasted
that out and started the 3/4 tongue and groove sheathing. It gets glued and nailed to the joists. Through a
strong group effort, we finished in one day. Laurie and I were finishing up spraying on a sealant to protect
the flooring at almost 9 PM. You NEED a pneumatic nailer to build houses! It took about 1800 8d nails.
Thanks to Butchie and Laurie for the effort. I'm sorry I can't think of anything interesting or witty to say,
I'm just exhausted.
12 hours, cloudy and cold.
