Day 122 December 6, 2001

I worked on the basement staircase today. After much researching, calculating, measuring (and praying) I cut 3 stringers from 2x12x10's and built the landing. So far so good. The house plans included the stairs, but I'm not thrilled with the design of the staircase. I made some changes to make it stronger as I am planning on gaining a lot of weight.

I went to court and low and behold the defendant showed up. I won't say much other then he is a no good scumbag liar. The case has been rescheduled for trial in December sometime. The wheels of justice turn so slow and always seem to favor the defendant.

Tomorrow I get an estimate on the insulation I've been waiting for.
