Day 136 January 22, 2002

Today I built the framing for the tub/shower. The tub gets screwed to the framing and the framing also supports the plumbing. I framed the closet outside the bathroom and also framed in a small place behind the shower to keep towels and stuff. Since tomorrow I have my rough plumbing inspection, I needed to remove the toilet, sink and tub so the inspector can see everything. You don't usually have to remove stuff, but I wanted to have a bathroom inside while I stayed here, and you wouldn't normally be staying in a house under construction. It's a small price to pay.
