Day 149 February 8, 2002

I cut another bunch of firewood and brought it to the cabin. Running the stove around the clock uses a bit of wood. The stove has no problem heating the whole cabin. Its interesting to see how the quality of wood effects the temperature of the stove and it requirements as far as air intake. Good dry Beech burns long and hot with a minimum of air. I'm basically burning the miscellaneous pile of wood near the driveway so I don't have to move it. The best wood I'm saving for next winter. With the firewood restocked, I continued rough wiring. I made many holes.

12 hours, sunny and nice.
