Day 172 April 4, 2002
Laurie was up before me and doing some paperwork for work. I got up, ate, stretched my back and continued
installing the T+G in the loft. Laurie polyed. When we ran out of poly we went into town to get more.
Its $40.00 a gallon up here. We hit all the hot spots, Rowley Lumber, Post Hardware, Liberty Farm Stand
(kiwi: 4 for a dollar. I understand that's a good price. I personally don't eat the stuff.). Lunch at the Diner.
While at the lumber yard I also ordered the 15 sheets of 3/4" tongue and groove plywood ($22 each) that will
cover the T+G pine boards and complete the loft subfloor. (I'll carpet it later. Something soft for people to
sleep on in sleeping bags). We've almost finished the loft T+G.
By tomorrow we will have a ceiling in the bathroom, giving the wimin' folk the privacy they demand and
the men folk the need to open the window.
8 hours, sunny and cool around 40.
