I finally framed out the last item: the bedroom closet. Yeah! It's not only an engineering masterpiece but an object d'art if I do say so myself.

I made a trip into town to buy the shhhhhhhh...last pieces of drywall. I spent the remainder of the day cutting it into pieces and putting it up. I try to minimize seams because they take the most time and effort to tape and mud. I also don't put any seams over the corners of the doors because they tend to crack over time. I "rocked" as the tradesmen say (short for "Sheetrock", which is actually a brand of drywall but everyone calls drywall sheetrock and vise versa, like we call Band-Aids Band-Aids.) I took a break to split firewood as winter is back. It snowed a little this morning.
