Day 242 August 10, 2002

Darrin is coming up today to do his famous high wire act. Meanwhile, Laurie and I finished the gable wall T+G.

When Darrin arrived we were ready with the scaffolding. As a team we continued on. We measure and cut and nail. When we needed, we raised the scaffolding. The plan is to do up to the collar ties, then start on the other side. Once both sides are up to the collar ties, I will put planks on top of them to work from. All the board that are going to go up high will be polyed first. Whatever I can reach from a reasonable height is going to be polyed once it's in place.

We headed to the Diner when we got tired and hungry, then Darrin and I went for a spin on the ATV's.
