Day 128 December 15, 2001
Laurie and I took it easy today. We slept till 9:30. In the cabin. We slept in the CABIN. I may need a moment... Anyway, it was warm and quiet and great.
We moved all the pine tongue and groove into the loft to air dry. It has to acclimate inside for a least 3 weeks to stabilize dimensionally. We cut and split some firewood and covered the rest. We ran the phone line through the 1" conduit in the same manner as the service entrance wire but it was much easier with phone line. The only difficulty was blowing the string through because the air fittings kept freezing up. I had to keep thawing them out, but we managed. Oh yeah, did I mention it got cold up here? It is in the 20's now but it's 70 inside the cabin. We are sitting in the great room. Its great!
6.5 hours, cloudy and cold around 32.
