Day 29, August 30, 2001

Form inspection today at 11 AM. I'm feeling pretty confident. I'm up early. I finish assembling my mixer and weld the tooth back onto the backhoe bucket. The inspector shows up early and comments on the driveway. Everyone does. "Summer home?" they all say. Nope, I have a 4 wheel drive and a plow. The driveway is a little steep. He looks at the forms and is pleased. "those aren't going anywhere!" he says. "Looks good, keep building". OK I will. I am relieved. Now what? Nothing needs doing. I take a long nap and rest my back. Laurie is due in late tonight. I'm a little lost without something to do. Weird.
