Day 42, Wednesday September 12, 2001
You know what? The worst day in America is still better
than the best day in the mid east. That must be what makes them
crazy. You know what else? I'm not going to stop building my
cabin, because I still can. F. U. terrorists. You can bomb our buildings but you won't destroy our spirit.
That's what makes us great and you jealous.
Anyway, where were we? Oh yeah, blocks.
Know how many shovelfulls of sand are in a ton?
188. The front bucket on The Big Yellow One holds
141 shovelfulls. Just a little fact for you. Today
I go to Rowleys and order the remaining block,
mortar, basement door, window, blah, blah, etc.
I get sand at Woodbourne Materials from Phil, the
nicest guy you'll ever meet. Back and lay block.
I'M HALF DONE!
I don't know whether to be happy about that or think about it as a half still to go. I think I'll be happy.

11 hours, beautiful around 75.
